Ignoring the fact Ireland's current medal haul ranks them somewhere between Chinese Taipei and Armenia in the Medal table, Irish commentator and boxing aficionado Jimmy Magee got quite excited about Ken Egan and Paddy Barnes securing at least bronze medals at the 2008 Beijing Games. Indeed, their achievements have been good but the Memory Man couldn't contain his joy after the two fights. "Muhammad Ali would have had a hard time beating this Irishman," we expected him to say, but didn't. Ken Egan was equally delighted. "Here I am in the semi-finals of the Olympic Games. I've no injuries, I'm still handsome, I'm flying," he said, at least getting his priorities in the correct order. Ken the Dubliner win Light-Heavyweight Gold?
